Job Description
Background:
Our customer is conducting a global rollout from a Germany-based company to their North American subsidiary. Configuration will be accomplished at the local level, and all technical work will be done in Germany. In order to be successful, all candidates MUST BE excellent communicators, demonstrate the ability to be appropriately challenge the business processes, possess excellent business process knowledge and Industry / SAP Best Practices, etc.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- 7 to 10 + years of SAP experience in area/module of expertise
- All consultants must be experience in roll-out / deployment activities, i.e., have participated in a N/A or global template roll-out
- Although the positions are not designated as TEAM LEAD roles, each individual consultant must be able to operate as if they are a Team Lead
- Solid, proven experience in operational process know-how, especially for physical processes, e.g., Logistics, Quality/QA, Production/MES
- Thought Leadership, i.e., demonstrated ability to appropriately challenge the business owners with options and the underlying rationale / business case for a specific situation / solution
- Proven, excellent knowledge and application of core business processes, including Industry and SAP Best Practices
- Strong, effective communicator
Desired Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- SAP Certification in area/module of expertise, a distinct differentiator, BUT NOT A PREREQUISITE
- Pre-SAP business & industry experience in area of expertise, e.g., materials manager, production scheduler, shop floor supervisor, warehouse manager, accountant/cost accountant, quality/QA manager, etc., a NICE PLUS
- Pertinent industry certifications, a NICE TO HAVE
Required Skills:
QM/MM
Core + Q-Planning, Inspection at GR/Production/GI, possibly Gauge management; QM, MM
